- OVERVIEW
This course covers oil and gas drilling in offshore environments. It presents an outline of well drilling operations from start to finish. Components of the course include discussions/training in drilling technology; rig components and movement practices; drilling equipment and down-hole tools; well design and stability; well casing design, as well as drilling fluids. The course will also give students an overview of the geology of offshore environments.
